21 Oct 2015 Looking forward to Coupa INSPIRE Paris 2015
It’s Wednesday 21st of October 2015 – Back to the Future Day – and the internet is full of features about which of the 1980s movie predictions actually transpired and which did not. It is fascinating to recollect what we thought the future would look like now that we’re here but I genuinely believe that it’s the advances in business applications of technology that are more exciting than talk of futuristic cars and the like and there’s no better place to see what the future of business technology is delivering than Coupa’s event this week.
I’ve been lucky enough to see a glimpse already of what Coupa is unveiling at Inspire. It’s not earth shattering in terms of the technology that we’re going to see – Coupa haven’t perfected the hover-board – but in terms of the application of bleeding edge tech to real world business – it’s extremely impressive. It’s not just impressive – it’s really cool too. Even 4 or 5 years ago, the stuff that Coupa are delivering today would have been unthinkable.
I’m not going to steal Coupa’s thunder now but I am looking forward to tweeting from the event as it happens and sharing the excitement and I look forward to meeting a few of you at the event.
