16 Nov 2011 OB10’s Green Apple Award is welcome recognition for a whole industry
Congratulations to OB10. It’s the fifth consecutive year that they have received a Green Apple Award for demonstrating environmental best practice.
Luke McKeever, CEO at OB10 accepting the award said “I’m honored to receive this award on behalf of OB10 and our customers as we rid the world of paper invoices.” To date, organizations on the OB10 network have saved over 92.2 million sheets of paper and over 2.6 million kilowatts of energy.
OB10, as one of the senior e-invoicing players, deserves the credit but the award is also welcome recognition for a whole industry that is making a real contribution to improving the way business behaves in relation to the environment. Everyone involved with e-invoicing, whether we are working for a vendor, in an AP department that encourages electronic invoices, a supplier that embraces the concept or a law maker that helps to move legislation in the right direction, can feel good about this award and take a modest nod in recognition too.
